I am a UKCP-registered attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist, and emotionally focused couples therapist. I have an advanced diploma in couples and psychosexual therapy and am a registered art therapist. I am a member of the Forum for Independent Psychotherapists (FiP) and am a registered Supervisor. I work in Central Cambridge, the City of London and London Bridge.

I offer a confidential and caring place in which to talk about personal and professional difficulties in either short or long term psychotherapy with individuals, couples and young people. I am trained in Individual and Couples Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), which I believe plays a vital part in the therapy relationship, alongside sensitive understanding, respect and creativity, and creates the greatest potential for healing.

The aim of the day is to focus not only on the therapeutic relationship as an essential component in the efficacy of therapy, but to gain a deeper understanding of the complexity and blocks to this alliance.

To explore the ways in which we might work with the complex dynamics arising and the vulnerability which we, as therapists, may experience.

This SkyBlue event features five leading international and national experts in the field, from five different therapeutic modalities.

In the beautiful Murray Edwards College Cambridge and its surrounding grounds, you will experience stimulating discourse and learning. Professor Michael Jacobs, fellow of BACP, opens the day, with a presentation of two of his papers.

Lunch will be provided, following which there will be the opportunity to attend one of four workshops.
